Jon Hampton: “From Art to Music”—How great art has inspired great music.

Music in Salisbury’s Chairman, Jon Hampton, will deliver a wide-ranging survey of how great works of art have inspired composers to write great music, with a few surprises in store to open our eyes as well as our ears!

We meet in a classically-proportioned Georgian room that provides superb acoustics, good facilities, and convivial surroundings that present the perfect environment for the appreciation of wonderful music.  Our venue is situated in an historic building at the back of St Ann Street.  Access by car or on foot is from Friary Lane through green gates into a large, secure, private car park (where you can park for free). The room opens directly to the car park.
