Ten things you didn’t know about Gilbert and Sullivan.

Ruth Barlow will present a richly-illustrated talk which will uncover some strange and surprising facts about G&S, demonstrating how accomplished they were, and how relevant they still are.

We meet in a classically-proportioned Georgian room that provides superb acoustics, good facilities, and convivial surroundings that present the perfect environment for the appreciation of wonderful music.  Our venue is situated in an historic building at the back of St Ann Street.  Access by car or on foot is from Friary Lane through green gates into a large, secure, private car park (where you can park for free). The room opens directly to the car park.
