LUNCHTIME CONCERT – Guinea Lane Sax Quartet

Guinea Lane Saxophone quartet was founded in 2018 by four friends from very diverse musical backgrounds. They play an idiosyncratic and eclectic mix of music including folk, classical and jazz. In the last few years they have followed the “road less travelled” and focussed on folk music of the British Isles. Working closely with composers and arrangers, they have built a repertoire of wholly original pieces, avoiding the standard numbers which can be a little tired. They play at numerous community events in the Wiltshire and Hampshire area and folk festivals including Chippenham, Whitchurch , Sidmouth and Priston. The members of the quartet are: Rob Bartholomew  who plays  Soprano, Barbara Dalton on  Alto , Jude Jackson Tenor and Fiona Stamp playing Baritone.
