LUNCHTIME CONCERT – Performance by Nicola Howard (Soprano)
Nicola Howard is a singer and has trained with many illustrious teachers like Jessica Cash and Neil Jenkins. She is also an accomplished actress and drama teacher. Her recent work in Shenzhen, China, has further enriched her experience and showcased her talents in different cultural settings. Nicola’s performances have graced various venues in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, including the Steinway Garden at the Shenzhen Concert Hall and St John’s Cathedral. Her musical journey has been enriched by her choir membership at St John’s and her lessons with the assistant director of music, Alan Tsang, a Royal College of Music graduate. Nicola will be accompanied by pianist Brian Budden, known locally as the accompanist for the Romsey and Basingstoke Male Voice Choirs.
For this concert Nicola will sing mostly songs from the twentieth century with a heavy dose of musical theatre! There will be songs by Satie, Sondheim, Weill and Cole Porter.
