The Sarum Consort: “Such Sweet Sorrow”

Selections from Orlando di Lasso’s Lagrime di San Pietro feature alongside music full of ache by Vittoria, Monteverdi, Byrd, and more in this programme of songs of exquisite melancholy designed and directed by guest conductor Greg Skidmore (The Tallis Scholars, I Fagiolini).
Proceeds from this performance go towards the work of Alabaré, a Salisbury-based charity that supports the vulnerable, homeless and marginalised as they transform their lives.
