Secret Byrd, celebrates the legacy of William Byrd, one of England’s finest composers, and a recusant Catholic composing under heinous threats to his life. In this immersive concert by candlelight, the incredible early music phenoms, The Gesualdo Six, invite you to a secret mass that puts you in direct touch with a deeply resonant moment in our history, and one of the most dangerous nights out imaginable.
