Salisbury Sinfonia Concert

Originally planned to celebrate Salisbury Sinfonia’s 100th concert in 2020, we return to St. Thomas’s starting with Schumann’s exciting Konzertstück with soloists Cornucopia. We then visit our conductor’s homeland with Piazzolla’s Tangazo and feature our leader, Richard Parsons, in the Beethoven Romance in F before ending with Dvorak’s ever-popular 8th Symphony.

Salisbury Sinfonia was established in 1992 by its founding conductor Michael Moorsom and a group of local players. It has presented an annual season of concerts in and around Salisbury ever since.
