Salad Days

Two Pianos – Gill Bolton and Zara Kuckelhaus play music written by composers in their youth, or for their young pupils.

Programme will include Barber of Seville overture by Rossini, Piano concerto no. 3 ‘ Youth Concerto’ by Kabalevsky, Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin, Midsummer Night’s Dream overture by Mendelssohn, Trout Quintet by Schubert, some of Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge by Britten.

GILL BOLTON (TWO PIANOS)

Gill Bolton and Zara Kuckelhaus (Two Pianos) are a mother and daughter piano duo who put on concerts several times a year, supplemented with home made cakes. Gill teaches piano in Salisbury, having attended the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music,whilst Zara studied at both the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music and then at Trinity College of Music. She now works for Cambridge University.
