In this concert to celebrate our 60th anniversary and the centenary of the ending of the First World War are two new works written especially for this concert: a George Herbert poem set to music by Alec Roth and Alison Cameron’s interpretation of World War 1 poetry for soprano soloist, choir and alto recorder

FARRANT SINGERS

The Farrant Singers is the longest-established chamber choir in Salisbury, with close links to the medieval city, the surrounding Wiltshire villages and the Cathedral, where the choir occasionally sings the services in place of the Cathedral Choir.
